Actor Sanjay Dutt is still remembered for his reprising role in the movie ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’. The movie drew attention to Gandhi's theories and revived an interest in Gandhism in India.
The ‘Sadak 2’ actor to celebrate the auspicious day, Gandhi Jayanti, opted for the filmy way to pay tribute to Bapu with a clip from his film. The clip shared by Sanjay ends with these words attributed to Mahatma Gandhi ‘Darr hi sabse bada rog hai’ (Fear is the biggest disease).

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sanjay Dutt on August 11, announced that he will be taking a break from work as he has been diagnosed with advanced-stage lung cancer. He has undergone tests as prescribed by the doctors at the Lilavati Hospital and currently is currently admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital where he's undergoing further tests to find out the condition of his lung cancer.
Meanwhile on the work front, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Sanjay Dutt health issues, his upcoming film K.G.F: Chapter 2 has been delayed. It is a Kannada language period action film directed by Prashanth Neel. A sequel to the 2018 film K.G.F: Chapter 1.
The film stars Yash in the lead reprising his role from the first film and Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist. The film will be dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
