Supporting Rhea Chakraborty Gets Vidya Balan Trolled
A sensible and requesting post from Vidya Balan where she is expressing her grief over SSR’s demise and the media circus around Rhea didn’t sit well with the fans, she is trending on social media for all the wrong reasons.
Vidya Balan spoke against the alleged media trial of Rhea Chakraborty in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Replying to Lakshmi Manchu's post, Vidya wrote, “God bless you @Lakshimimanchu for saying this out and loud.
It is so unfortunate that the tragic and untimely death of a beloved young star Sushant Singh Rajput has become a media circus. In the same breath, as a woman, my heart breaks at the vilification of Rhea Chakraborty. Isn't it supposed to be 'Innocent until proven guilty, or is it now 'Guilty until proven innocent'!? Let's show some respect for the constitutional rights of a citizen and let the law take its course."
Lakshmi on Sunday had come out in Rhea's support and had urged people to stop being cruel and evil to the actress and her family without knowing complete facts. "Wake up my industry friends... stop this lynching," she had tweeted along with a long note.
Besides Vidya and Lakshmi, even Taapsee has lent her support to Rhea by tweeting, "I didn’t know Sushant on a personal level nor do I know Rhea but what I know is, it only takes to be a human to understand how wrong it is to overtake the judiciary to convict someone who isn’t proven guilty. Trust the law of the land for your sanity and the deceased’s sanctity."
Sushant was found dead on June 14 in his Bandra apartment and the case is currently being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Along with that, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) have also registered a case against Rhea on grounds of the alleged drugs consumption and money laundering claims by the late actor's family. Firstly, here’s wishing power star Pawan Kalyan a very happy birthday and hoping he tastes more success in his future endeavors.
