Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari became the first Hindi film that was released in theatres after a long shutdown due to Covid-19. The film is now all set to re-release on the OTT Platform. It will release on ZeePlex as per pay per view service on December 4.
The film did open to a good response but people are still skeptical to come to the theatres due to the widespread Corona in the country. As a result, the producers have decided to bring the film to the OTT Platform.
The film directed by Abhishek Sharma features Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh, and Fatima Sana Shaikh in leading roles with Annu Kapoor and Supriya Pilgaonkar in supporting roles. .It is produced by Shariq Patel and Subhash Chandra under the banners Zee Studios and Essel Vision Productions.
The film is set in the 1990s where Madhu Mangal Rane played by Manoj Bajpayee is a wedding detective who does the background check of grooms. Suraj Singh Dhillon played by Diljit Dosanjh gets clicked by him while having alcohol and it results in breaking off his marriage. He vows revenge and all this leads to comical situations.
The film releases this Friday, December 4 on ZeePlex and you can book your tickets for just Rs. 199.
