Tanushree’s sister Ishita Dutta thinks Ajay shouldn’t be held responsible
Soon after Ajay Devgn released a statement about working with Alok Nath in his upcoming film, ‘De De Pyar De’, Tanushree Dutta’s sister and Ajay’s former co-worker Ishita Dutta talked about the matter.
The actress released a statement saying the interaction could land her in a precarious situation. “I understand that this could land me in a precarious situation, but what’s right is right. My sister is supporting the truth. My equation with Ajay sir is separate and bears no connection with what my sister feels about the situation. I don’t think he will be upset or angry with me for what she has to say.”
Actress Tanushree Dutta and writer Vinta Nanda who alleged that Alok raped her criticized him. While Tanushree called him “morally bankrupt and a spineless hypocrite”, Vinta Nanda said she “did not expect anything” from him.
Ajay Devgn who is the lead actor in the upcoming film had said he shouldn’t be the only one held responsible for the collaboration. To which Ishita agreed and added, “‘Ajay sir isn’t the producer of the film, so he can’t be solely responsible. It has to be a collective decision. I believe that they (the makers of the film) couldn’t have possibly done anything about it.”
Also starring Tabu and Rakul Preet, ‘De De Pyar De’ directed by Akiv Ali will release on 17th May 2019.
