The Role in 83 is Difficult for Me Says Pankaj Tripathi
Veteran Actor Pankaj Tripathi, who is all set to play the role of PR Man Singh in forthcoming sports drama 83, based on 1983 Cricket World Cup win by Indian cricket team.
Talking about his role and research, actor Pankaj Tripathi said, “The research process is still going on. See this is a difficult role for me as well, I am in the process right now and I will go and meet him (Man Singh) next month in Hyderabad. The preparations are going on”
The cast of 83, which includes names like Ranveer Singh, Jiiva, Ammy Virk, Harrdy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem and Chirag Patil, along with filmmaker Kabir Khan hosted a training session in Dharamshala.
The team in being coached by former Indian skipper Kapil Dev, Mohinder Amarnath and many other noted Indian players.
Talking about his session, Pankaj sadi, “Recently we were in Dharamshala, we have had an amazing bonding with each other. We practiced and it is such a brilliant team, and god willing, 83 will be a beautiful and interesting film. It is an amazing film. The entire team, along with Kabir Khan and all the players were in Dharamshala and we had fun”
Pankaj Tripathi recently made headlines for purchasing a posh apartment but the actress believes that material is not important but the journey is important.
When asked about his new possessions, Pankaj said, “I was talking to a journalist and during the interaction I told him about my new home and it’s sea-facing, it was not my intention but it became news. To be honest, all this material things, such as home, car and other stuff, it is all confusion and illusion, the journey is important. My journey can inspire someone but this material stuff is here today, but tomorrow they might be gone. So the journey is important”
’83 is an upcoming sports drama film directed by Kabir Khan; the film chronicles the win of 1983 World Cup Win by Indian Team and their struggle.
