This is the second trailer of the Netflix film, The White Tiger is out. The film is slated for the 22 January release. The Ramin Bahrani film starring Adarsh Gourav, Priyanka Chopra, and Rajkummar Rao is based on Aravind Adiga’s Man Booker Prize-winning book by the same name.

The trailer highlights and address India’s class divide and one man’s fight to break out of the life of servitude, the film shows Priyanka and Rajkummar as a rich married couple, who return to India after living in the US for many years. Adarsh Gourav is their driver Balram Halwai, who has been conditioned for a life of servitude.
The White Tiger is a social satire that explores themes like poverty, corruption, survival, and class struggle in India. The trailer unfolds from the point of view of Balram Halwai (Adarsh), who is narrating his rise from a poor villager to a successful entrepreneur. But his journey isn’t any rags to riches story. It, in fact, follows his highly ambitious plans and how he fulfills them.
