The film Coolie No 1 is a remake of David Dhawan's original 'Coolie no. 1' which was released in the year 1995. Govinda and Karisma Kapoor's starrer film was loved by the audience then and the same trend continues as Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan's film is also impressing the audience.
The plot of the film is Jeffery Rozario (Paresh Rawal) a Goan hotelier who s his daughter Sarah (Sara Ali Khan) to marry a millionaire. Raj a porter/coolie (Varun Dhawan) falls in love with her and pretends to be a tycoon. What happens next is a laughter joy ride with hard-core entertainment.
Post this film, Varun will be seen in Raj Mehta's 'Jug Jug Jeeyo' which is a mantic drama being produced by Dharma Productions. The film stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles alongside Varun.
