"Watch 'Ludo' for its noteworthy and credible performances - Review".
Anurag Basu's 'Ludo' was getting delayed for a long time and when the trailer of the film was released, it left the audience quite impressed with its stellar star cast and obviously Anurag Basu's name added credibility to it. The film finally released on Netflix on 12 November.
As the trailer suggested, Ludo is a culmination of four different stories with different characters and eventually their paths cross each other. At the center of all these stories is a local don of the area Sattu Bhaiya. Through intersecting various lives together, the film focuses on virtue and vice, evil and good, heaven and hate. The main premise of the film is 'Ludo is life and life is Ludo'
At the onset, the film starts with an interesting premise with various characters being introduced slowly and everything fits in. But thereon, the pace of the film gets to fall back. As soon as you start falling in love with one character, the story moves on and a new character is introduced. And till the end, you are overstuffed with so much content.
The film surely has some amazing moments with incredible performances from the star cast. Pankaj Tripathi is superb as a badass criminal. Rajkummar Rao adds fun to the film while Abhishek Bachchan leaves a deep impact. Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra are impressive. Aditya Roy Kapoor and Rohit Saraf are also good. Pearle Maney will surprise you.
Watch this one for the performances and learning some good life lessons!
