Multi-starring Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is the first film that will release in theatres after lockdown.
Actor Fatima Sana Shaikh who was seen in the special screening of the film in Mumbai on Thursday talked about the safety measures that have been taken in theatres.
Fatima is all excited about her film Suraj Pe mangal Bhari. The actor said, “I am happy that theatres are opening through our film. This will be sure a historic moment for all of us. Because after lockdown it will be the first film the audience will be enjoying in theatres. So I request all the people to come and enjoy the movie in theatres, as all the protocols will be followed.”
The film Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is set in the 1990s, Madhu Mangal Rane (Manoj Bajpayee) is playing a wedding detective, who does a background check of grooms. In 90's it was a norm as there were no mobile phones or social media and people had to deal with everything physically. This gives rise to comical situations.[
Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is a satirical comedy-drama film directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Shariq Patel and Subhash Chandra under the banners Zee Studios and Essel Vision Productions being Zee's maiden in-house production. The film also features Manoj Bajpayee and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles.
The film is scheduled to release theatrically on 15 November 2020, coinciding with Diwali.
