Superstar Salman Khan, who is the brand ambassador of the music reality show named ‘Indian Pro Music League’, has said that makers are trying to take the league on a bigger scale like sports leagues in the country. He added saying that it’s a unique music league where we will try to present different forms of music to the audience.
Salman Khan was interacting with News Helpline at the launch of the Indian Pro Music League on Thursday in Mumbai.
Talking about Indian Pro Music League, Khan said, “We have earlier seen different kinds of sports leagues, so this league will be on the same lines and it will have a lot of energy. We are trying to take it on a bigger scale and every year, we will try to bring this music league to the audience. I just hope that the best team will win the show.”
Salman Khan has lent his voice for several film songs in his 30-year long career but he created three special songs titled ‘Pyaar Corona’, ‘Tere Bina’ and ‘Bhai Bhai’ during the period of lockdown when asked Khan whether the audience will see a glimpse of his singing in the show, he said, “You (audience) will see it. When you watch the show, you will realize what is there in it. It’s a unique music league where we will try to present different forms of music to the audience. In the lockdown, the only thing which was there that is music. Everyone was creating music during that period including me. I made three songs and we uploaded it on my YouTube channel which has been appreciated by people, so music is one such thing which will never die-off."
The league will comprise six teams led by celebrities from Bollywood, cricket, and the music world. These include Shraddha Kapoor, Govinda, Rajkummar Rao, Riteish Deshmukh & Genelia Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, and Suresh Raina.
Big names from the music world such as Asees Kaur, Mika Singh, Akriti Kakar, Shaan, Neha Bhasin, music composer Sajid, Shilpa Rao, Kailash Kher, Bhoomi Trivedi, Javed Ali, Payal Dev, and Ankit Tiwari will be the captains of these teams.
The show will go on air in February. It will air on Zee TV and Zee5.
