India is racking up more new reported infections each day, but nobody thought that Bollywood’s high profile Bachchan family will get infected with the novel coronavirus. First, it was Amitabh and Abhishek who tested COVID-19 positive and now it’s Aishwarya and Aaradhya. Big B and Junior B due to mild symptoms are hospitalized at Nanavati hospital. But as Aishwarya and Aaradhya are both asymptomatic, they have self-quarantined themselves at home. In all this the lucky one to go was Jaya Bachchan, she tested negative. Abhishek thanking his fans and confirming the health of his family, on Sunday tweeted, “Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self-quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated on their situation and is doing the needful. The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayer,” The rest of the Bachchan family and their staff and maids are awaiting test results. All the four bungalows owned by the Bachchan family Jalsa, Pratiksha, Janak, and Vatsa have been reportedly declared as containment zones and sealed by the BMC. Big B’s contact tracing is also being done, while the staff at their bungalow are being screened for Covid-19. Since the news had spread like fire, fans are praying and wishing for the speedy recovery of Bachchan’s family.
