ALTBalaji launches trailer for Boo Sabki Phategi

Ekta Kapoor is now bringing her brother, Tusshar Kapoor to the streaming platforms with the new web series, Boo. Sabki Phategi. The web series stars Tusshar and a host of other actors, like Krushna Abhishek, Mallika Sherawat, Sanjai Mishra, Farhad Samji, Vipul Roy, Shefali Jariwala, Sakshi Pradhan, Shweta Gulati, Saba Saudagar and Anil Charanjeet.

From the looks of it, the series is a horror comedy and takes potshots at several of the horror franchises, ranging from The Nun to Stree. This is in line with the spoof franchises in Hollywood, which have been mildly successful. It remains to be seen how the Indian audiences will react to this web series.

ALTBalaji has brought some interesting concepts to the streaming public and is actually the reason streaming has become so big in India. When it started, Netflix was too expensive and Amazon Prime was yet to roll out its services. It was ALTBalaji’s slew of web series that made the media and the audience take notice.
