Gone are the days when the films used to be made without any subject. These days, 'Content is the King'. Films are being made with a social message, biopics, mythology, and even bestselling novels are being adapted into films. Amish Tripathi who is one of India's bestselling author, his book 'Legend of Suheldev: The King Who Saved India' is being made into a film now.
Film Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news and wrote, "ANNOUNCEMENT ... #Suheldev- the novel by Amish- to be made into a film- directed by Senthil Kumar...Produced by Wakaoo Films (Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl), Casa Media (Pranav Chaturvedi, Sujay Shankarwar) and Immortal Studios (Anish Tripathi, Aman Gurwada).."
'Legend of Suheldev: The King Who Saved India' is the eighth book by Amish Tripathi. It was released this year in June. The book is based on the legendary king Suheldev who defeated the army of Ghazi Saiyyad Salar Masud in the Battle of Bahraich in 1034 CE.


The film will be directed by Senthil Kumar and produced jointly by Wakaoo Films, Casa Media, and Immortal Studios. No more details have been shared as of now.
Prior to this, even Karan Johar bought the rights to make the film adaptation of Amish's book 'The Immortals Of Meluha' in the year 2014. However, nothing concrete came out of it. The latest update on the same was that the English rights of the same were bought by an American Producer.
