Amitabh Bachchan Is Overwhelmed With The Response Of Family
Amitabh Bachchan in collaboration with Sony Pictures Networks India and Kalyan jewellers released a short film ‘ Family‘ on sunday 6th April, where different stars from the film fraternity shot at their respective homes to convey a simple message to the people of India : ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe.’ The film garnered appreciation from one and all. Big B took out time to give a big thanks to everyone for such an overwhelming response for the film.
He took to twitter and tweeted, “When you are overwhelmed by the outpouring of gracious acceptance of your effort..then the less said the better !! ”
The film conveys a special message for the people of the country that is during the lockdown period, they have to stay indoors to combat the spread of Corona Virus. In addition to this, it is an effort by the stars of the film fraternity to raise a fund and help the workers and daily wage earners in this tough time.
Since its release, the film has been making rounds on the internet and PM Shri Narendra Modi has also shared the film on his social media account. He wrote, “You can be distant and you can be social. A great video with relevant messages. Have a look.”
‘Family’ is a short film which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra from Bollywood Industry, Diljit Dosanjh representing Punjabi Cinema, Rajnikanth from Tamil Industry, Mohanlal and Mammootty from Malyalam cinema, Chiranjeevi from Telugu Industry, Shivarajkumar from Kannada Cinema, Sonalee Kulkarni from Marathi Industry and Prosenjit Chaterjee from Bengali Cinema. The concept has been virtually directed by Prasoon Pandey.
