​Bharat, Once In A Life Time Role Says Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif says her role in forthcoming period drama is a once in a life time on the sidelines of song launch here in Mumbai.

Salman Khan along with Katrina Kaif, Bhushan Kumar, Ali Abbas Zafar,  Atul Agnihotri was interacting with media on the sidelines of Zinda Song launch here in Mumbai.

Talking about her role in Bharat, Actor Katrina said, “Honestly, I feel it’s once in a life time character and it is a character, which the minute I read, I feel in love with completely. And I was so extremely excited, and very happy to be given this opportunity or to got an opportunity like this, to enact this character”

“Honestly everyday on this film has just been so fulfilling, as an actor. I think it’s definitely my most incredible experience working with Ali Abbas Zafar” she added.

Katrina Kaif has worked with Ali Abbas Zafar in three films so far, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai and now Bharat, the actress says the latest one has been the best experience.

She said, “I have done three films with Ali, but I can honestly say that this film has been the best experience so far, and I think we all are super excited for everyone to see the film” added Kaif.

The film was earlier offered to Priyanka Chopra, but later the Desi Girl backed out of the film because of her marriage to Nick Jonas. The role went to Katrina Kaif.

The film also stars Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, and Jackie Shroff. It traces India’s post-independence history from the perspective of a common man, and follows his life from the age of 18 to 70.

Bharat is written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It is jointly produced banners Reel Life Productions, Salman Khan Films and T-Series. It is slated for 5th June 2019 release.
