"Bhushan Kumar came up with an idea for ‘Naach Meri Rani’ says, Guru Randhawa".

Singer and music composer Guru Randhawa, who has featured in a music video titled ‘Naach Meri Rani’ along with actress Nora Fatehi, has said that T-Series head Bhushan Kumar came up with an idea to create a song which revolves around a female robot. Guru also praised his dancing partner Nora Fatehi, for her performance in the foot-tapping number.

Guru Randhawa was interacting with the media to promote ‘Naach Meri Rani’ along with Nora Fatehi, on Tuesday in Mumbai.

Naach Meri Rani’ has got more than 20 million views within a few hours of its release on T-Series’ YouTube channel. The dance number is currently trending at the number one spot on YouTube.

Talking about the inception of ‘Naach Meri Rani’ Guru said, “I think Bhushan (Kumar – head of T-Series) sir is the one who decides what we have to do when it comes to creating a song. I usually write and compose my own songs but this song is written and composed by Tanishk (Bhagchi) Bhai, so the team sent me the song and I loved it. When I got to know that Nora (Fatehi) is also a part of the song along with me, I was too excited because she has been doing amazing stuff in her journey. This is the first time we have done a video together, so I am really glad that everyone is loving it.”

In the music video, Nora plays a robot that grooves to Guru's tunes wherein she is totally slaying her futuristic and robotic moves.

As the video starts, Guru Randhawa is seen working on his robot in a lab when his robot aka Nora Fatehi, comes to life. We see Nora killing in a black leather jumpsuit with red hair. Later, she dons dazzling silver attire with purple hair. While Guru could be seen wearing a slick leather jacket.

Sharing his experience working with Nora Fatehi, Guru said, “When I got to know that she (Nora Fatehi,) was going to be in the video, I was preparing myself because she has done everything on a different scale when it comes to dancing. I have done everything on a different scale when it comes to dancing, so I am not doing much dance in the video but then, she was very supportive of the sets. I am also thanks to Bosco (Martis) sir and his team for teaching me dance steps. I think you should be a good artist otherwise; everybody is doing work in this industry, so I feel she is very great at heart and she was very funny on set. I feel you should create a comfortable atmosphere on sets when you are working with an artist for the first time and she exactly did that with me.”

‘Naach Meri Rani’ has been choreographed by Bosco Martis and composed by Tanishk Bagchi, with vocals by Guru Randhawa and Nikhita Gandhi.
