Netflix India unveils two new teasers of new film Chopsticks, starring Abhay Deol and Mithila Palkar in the main lead on social media.

The official handle of Netflix India dropped the first teaser on social media with caption, “Chopsticks and stones may break her bones, but at least a goat and an Artist befriend her. Presenting @mipalkar as Nirma in #Chopsticks.  @ViniyardFilms

The teaser introduces Mithila Palkar as Nirma, a translator for Chinese tourists who is excited to take her new car out for a spin in Mumbai. When the vehicle is stolen, she turns to Abhay Deol’s con man, named Artist, for help.

Directed by Hindi screenwriter Sachin Yardi (Traffic Signal, Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum), the film has been produced by Viniyard Productions.

Netflix India captioned the second teaser, “When you lose your car, you never know who you’re going to find in it. Presenting the cast of #Chopsticks. P.S. A con artist, a goat and a girl named Nirma might just be the right answer. @ViniyardFilms”

The series chronicles Nirma played by Mithila, as an under-confident but talented girl, sidestepped at every stage of her life, who seeks out an enigmatic con to help recover her stolen car from a goat-loving, crazy Mumbai gangster.

The film marks the first collaboration between Mithila Palkar and Abhay Deol, the film also stars Vijay Raaz in pivotal role.

The film Chopsticks will be released on the streaming platform on 31st May 2019.
