Dilip Kumar has Pneumonia

We earlier reported that Dilip Kumar was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital. Now, it is revealed that he suffers from pneumonia. In a media interaction, Saira Banu, his wife, said that he had little patches of pneumonia but is fine now. She also said that he might be discharged soon. Dilip Kumar was admitted to the hospital after he complained of uneasiness and difficulty in breathing, which was because of a chest infection.

The veteran actor has been in and out of hospital since the past few years. He was keeping excellent health prior to that. Last year, he had to be hospitalised again because of dehydration and a urinary tract infection. The 95 year old actor is considered as one of the finest actors in Bollywood. He is also one of the few actors who made the successful transition from the leading actor to one of the most important members of the cast in a supporting role. Many current actors say that Dilip Kumar was their inspiration to join the film industry. Just last year, Shah Rukh Khan had a fan moment with Dilip Kumar  when he visited the superstar in his house.
