Esha Deol Gets Nominated At New Vision International Film Festival

Esha Deol Takhtani, who made her comeback with the short film Cakewalk directed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee, now confirm that the film has been nominated at the Prestigious New Vision International Film Festival.

Esha Deol took to her social media profile and shared the details of nomination her short film Cakewalk has been getting. She wrote, “Three Cheers!!! #Cakewalk has been nominated at the prestigious #NewVisionInternationalFilmFestival at #Amsterdam for #BestShortFilm…I #EshaDeolTakhtani am nominated for #BestActor…It has also been selected at #BollywoodFilmFestival in #Norway for #BestShortFilm and #KalaSamruddhiInternational Film Festival in #Mumbai for #Bestposter  #PublicChoiceAward”

The film has been nominated at New Vision International Film Festival, Bollywood Film Festival, Kala Samruddhi International Film Festival under different categories and actress has been nominated for Best actor in Short film format.

The film is directed by Kamal Mukherjee, who has been a journalist and an author, is a debutant filmmaker.

The film revolves around a Bengali woman, Shilpa, who is passionate about baking and confectionary. However, she goes through a tussle between domestic bliss and pursing her passion.

Esha will be seen playing a Bengali character for the first time.
