Farhan Akthar has no plans for Don 3?

The Don franchise is actually the one that started out the trend for franchises and remakes in Bollywood. The franchise has two films now and there’s always the query about the third film. However, the star of the franchise, Shah Rukh Khan, has recently announced that he hasn’t signed any film, even six months after he wrapped up Zero.

Now, there are reports that Farhan, the director of the film, is himself busy with his own career, and is wrapping up Rakeysh Mehra’s Toofan. That film will keep him busy till 2020. With Shah Rukh Khan also out of the picture, it remains to be seen whether the Don franchise will return with a third film in the near future. There have been some rumors about Don 3 starring Hrithik Roshan and even Ranbir Kapoor, but none of those rumors have had a long life.
