Finally Alia Bhatt starrer “Sadak 2”gets a new release date!

The Alia Bhatt starrer movie is her father’s remake of 1991 super hit, Sadak. The 26-year-old actor also shared that she is “petrified” to shoot for the film, which will be directed by her father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. The upcoming film will have Sanjay and Pooja reprising their roles along with Alia and Aditya Roy Kapur. Sadak 2 has finally gone on floors in Mumbai a couple of days back.

This is the first time we will see sisters Pooja and Alia sharing the screen space for the first time.The movie is the sequel to Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadakand also features Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt who played the leads in the 1991 hit flick along with Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles.Earlier it was reported that “Sadak 2” will revolve around the protagonist’s (Alia) encounters with a godman. Now as per latest report Makarand Despande will play the godman in the film. 

Though Sadak 2 was slated to hit the big screens on March 25, 2020. However it has a new release date and will now hit the silver screen on July 10, next year.
