First Official Trailer Of “WW84: Wonder Woman” Is Finally Out

The first official trailer of “WW84: Wonder Woman” is finally out, starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Connie Nielsen, and Robin Wright lead roles.
The official handle of Wonder Woman film dropped the trailer on social media. It said, “A new era of wonder begins. #WW84 in theaters June 5”

The film is a sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman and is the ninth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The film is directed by Patty Jenkins, from the script she wrote with Geoff Johns and David Callaham, from the story written by Johns and Jenkins.

Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman comes into conflict with the Soviet Union during the Cold War in the 1980s and finds a formidable foe by the name of the Cheetah.

Cheetah is known within DC Comics as one of Wonder Woman’s archenemies, originally appearing in Wonder Woman #6 back in 1943. This is the first time Cheetah is appearing in a live-action movie with Wonder Woman. She’ll be played by former Saturday Night Live cast member Kristen Wiig.

The film is the ninth entry in the DC Extended Universe, following Shazam earlier this year and Aquaman in 2018. This is Wonder Woman’s fourth appearance in the DCEU following Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the first Wonder Woman film in 2017 and Justice League a few months later.

Wonder Woman 1984 is scheduled to be released in the United States by Warner Bros. Pictures in RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, IMAX and IMAX 3D on June 5, 2020.
