Hansal Mehta And Alankrita Shrivastava Share The Idea Of Real India
It is a big day in the history of India, a day to remember as finally after years of struggle, Ram Mandir is being built in Ayodhya and today marks the Bhumi Pujan ceremony. The whole city of Ayodhya has been painted yellow.
Though many are rejoicing that a long battle has come to a fruitful end, but some see it as “bad decision” which dilutes the image of real India. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta along with Alankrita Shrivastava took to their social media profile and expressed their displeasure.
Filmmaker Hansal Mehta tweeted, “And the vultures will descend upon Ayodhya scavenging the remnants of an idea called India”
Lipstick Under My Burkha famed filmmaker Alankrita Shrivastava was cryptic in her approach. She wrote, “Such a hollow idea of India has taken over. Is there any joy in celebrating the othering of our own? A nation cannot survive on the hatred of one's own people and the suppression of one's own. India belongs to every Indian regardless of religion or caste”
This is not the first time, Hansal and Alankrita have gone on record and expressed their displeasure over something nation is rejoicing about!
People all over the country are excited for the day as today PM Narendra Modi will unveil a plaque to mark the laying of the foundation stone of the Ram Temple. This will be followed by the release of a commemorative postage stamp on 'Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir'.
The whole city of Ayodhya has been decked up and lit for the special occasion. The ceremony will be attended by 175 people, led by PM Modi and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat.
