Dapper Saqib Saleem turned a year older yesterday, due to lockdown, Sister Huma Qureshi couldn’t do anything special to her baby brother, but she baked him a cake, and the gesture is too cute for words!
Huma Qureshi turned dessert chef for her baby brother Saqib Saleem, and baked him a stunning cheesecake with his initials SS on it. The actress took to her social media and shared a video, where she is showcasing her baking talents.
She captioned it, “I could not do anything special for my baby brother…apart from trying my hand at making a cake!! Brother and sister duo – Huma and Saqib – hails from restaurateur background, their fathers, Saleem Qureshi, is a restaurateur who runs a chain of restaurants Saleem’s. Looks like cooking and baking talent runs in the genes along with love for each other.
Meanwhile on the professional front, Huma Qureshi was last seen in Netflix’s dystopian series Leila, based on the novel of the same name. Directed by Deepa Mehta, Shanker Raman and Pawan Kumar, the series premiered on 14 June, 2019 to mostly positive review from critics with particular praise for Qureshi’s performance.
Saqib Saleem is part 83 ensemble, which is an upcoming Indian sports drama film directed by Kabir Khan. The film also stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya, and Sahil Khattar.
Although it was scheduled for theatrical release on 10 April 2020, the release has been postponed due to 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic.
