Actor Akshay Kumar who is known as one finest action stars of Indian film industry has said that he will keep doing action films if he will be able to keep himself fit after five years.

Akshay Kumar was interacting with media to promote his upcoming film ‘Kesari’ on Wednesday in Mumbai.

In an interview given to a media house, Akshay Kumar recently said that he will work in the film industry for next five years and hearing that news his fans felt sad as they will not be able to see their favourite star onscreen after five years, Akshay gave an explanation that he will not do action films after years, he said, “A body can’t take so much. Now I am already 51 years of age. I think I can do action till the age of 56 and after that god knows. If I can maintain myself more then, I will continue otherwise, there are many other things to do in life.”

Recently Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty made an announcement that their upcoming cop film ‘Sooryavanshi’ will be releasing on EID 2020 which is a bona fide Salman Khan’s films release date, when asked Akshay whether he had word with Salman Khan before announcing release date of ‘Sooryavanshi’, he said,  “No. Nothing like that has happened.”

Fans of the cult comedy ‘Hera Pheri’, got the chance to rejoice when filmmaker Indra Kumar finally confirmed the third instalment in the hit comic franchise. The original film that released in 2000, featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal, went on to become one of the best comedy films ever made in Bollywood and is still remembered for their performances and the tongue-in-cheek dialogues that continue to be popular among the moviegoers.

Talking about the third part of ‘Hera Pheri’, Indra Kumar told DNA in a report, “I’m happy that the favourite trio is coming back together. We start the film towards the end of this year. It’s currently being scripted. I was completely cut off from that project for the last three months because I was busy with Total Dhamaal.”

On the contrary, when asked Akshay Kumar asked whether third part of hit franchise is  being made, he gave straight single line reply that, “Until now, there is nothing finalised about it and I don’t have any idea about it.”
