Finally the first official trailer of Bharat, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the leading role is out! And this one is a saga, which is 71 years old!
Superstar Salman Khan dropped the trailer on his twitter profile. The trailer shows Salman Khan from a wild-fire circus stunt performer to oil digger to naval officer and finally an old man, who is narrating his story!
Actress Disha Patani plays as a fellow performer and Sunil Grover as circus master. But the real show stealer in the trailer is Katrina Kaif, who is shown as a recruitment officer.
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif fall in love and once a wild-man, Bharat starts to find roots and meaning to life. However, a freak accident that follows in a mine field, where Bharat is posted as a worker, forces him to reflect on the promise he made to his father.
The trailer shows Salman in different shades and looks, from fighting off pirates as a navy officer to saving his co-workers from dust storms and blasts and finally volunteering with people in locating missing immigrants from across the border. In short, Salman’s here to save the day for a nation that desperately needs loving souls like him.
The film is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and also features Tabu, and Aasif Sheikh in pivotal roles. This is Abbas’ second film with the lead pair, the earlier one being Tiger Zinda Hai (2017).
Bharat will release in theatres on 5th June 2019.
