Karan Johar Drops The First Look Poster Of Ghost Stories

Filmmaker Karan Johar drops the first look poster of anthology Ghost Stories and also shares a candid video from the director’s point of view about the forthcoming horror fiesta, which unravels on New Year’s Eve.

A joint collaboration of filmmakers such as Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap, Ghost Stories, will go live on Netflix on January 1, 2020.

Sharing the first look featuring Mrunal Thakur in the lead, director Karan Johar wrote, “When the clock strikes midnight on January 1, 2020….there’s something unexpected and unknown that’s going to be unleashed into the night. #GhostStories only on Netflix…@NetflixIndia in @rsvpmovies @ashidua_fue #ghoststories @mrunal0801 @avinashtiw85”

The filmmakers also teased the storyline of their much-anticipated project, which is being dubbed as an edge-of-the-seat psychological drama, while announcing the release date via a video.

Karan Johar captioned the video, “As you usher in the new year, keep the lights on. Trust me. #GhostStories on Netflix, January 1st, 2020. Netflix @NetflixIndia @RSVPMovies @ashidua_fue”

The film also stars Avinash Tewari, Gulshan Devaiah, Janhvi Kapoor, Kusha Kapila, Sobhita Dhulipala, Surekha Sikri, Sukant Goel, and Vijay Verma in pivotal roles.

Just like “Lust Stories”, “Ghost Stories” is an Indian anthology film consisting of four short films. It is the third collaboration, after “Love Per Square Foot” and “Lust Stories” for Netflix and RSVP.
