Kargil Girl starring Janhvi Kapoor in the lead, shoot gets cancelled in Lucknow.

Dhadak actress Janhvi Kapoor is all set to play in Kargil Girl which is based on Gunjan Saxena. She is one of the first women combat aviators who had entered the war zone in Kargil in the year 1999. Saxena was accompanied by her colleague Srividya Rajan who was a Lieutenant. Gunjan and Srividya were officially the first women combat aviators to have entered the war zone although the initiation started recently in 2016.

As per the reports the makers are now making changes to the schedule to avoid any delay in the shooting. This schedule of Kargil Girl will see the climax scenes being shot. Janhvi and her onscreen brother Anshuman (played by Angad Bedi) will be shooting an intense scene at UP Sainik School in Lucknow, besides other locations including one near the air force station.

Pankaj Tripathi will be seen playing Janhvi’s father in the film. Child actor Riva Arora who played late actor Sridevi’s daughter in her last film Mom, will be seen playing the young Gunjan in the film.

Apart from Kargil girl Janhvi Kapoor will be next seen in Karan Johar’s Takht, multi-starrer featuring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Alia, Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky. It will also star Ranveer Singh play Dara Shikoh while Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the role of Aurangzeb.
