In Khandaani Shafakhana, the actress plays the role of a young girl from Amritsar, who inherits her uncle’s sex clinic and tries to break the taboos around the topic. Sonakshi is super-excited for this project and is going out and about to spread a word about Khandaani Shafakhana. And while she is at it, Sonakshi also recently shared a video on Twitter which happens to be from the last day of film’s shoot.

Revealing as to why she chose to do this project, Sonakshi recently said in a statement, “I decided to do this film because it’s a very relevant and important subject that should be discussed. I don’t want anyone, woman or man, to shy away from talking about this topic. I hope my doing this film, will give them the courage to talk about sexual issues openly. I am sure this movie will get people thinking… and talking. ‘Baat toh karo.”
Khandaani Shafakhana also stars Varun Sharma and Badshah in lead roles. The movie scheduled to release on August 2.
