Madikeri, June 30:
Punya Nanajappa has been selected as Fighter Pilot in the Indian Army. Its a childhood dream come true for her. Nanjappa and Anu are the proud parents of Punya. She had decided in 9 the class become a pilot when she grows up and today she has become one. This determination of her choosing to become a PIlot was from the vacation she took to world-famous Mysore Dasara, where she had captured in her eyes with many helicopters flying in the sky.
With the target and determination to become a Pilot, she had completed a year training at Hyderabad, thereafter in 2019 as a Trainee Pilot she was selected by The Indian Army. Punya has completed her Engineering studies. Just like others Punya didn't choose a common path as the rest of the Engineering students would do and join a Corporate company but she chose to serve the Nation. This has been an immense and yet another contribution from Kodagu towards the Indian Army.
