Much anticipated Black Mirror Season 5 is back with Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie and Topher Grace.

Season five of the hit anthology sci-fi series Black Mirror, starring Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie and Topher Grace, premieres on the platform on June 5. The long awaited fifth season of Black Mirror just released three new one- minute trailers to stoke fans anticipation.

But that is still happening, albeit Black Mirror is going back to its roots where it used to have only three episodes per season, rather than six in the Netflix era. We may return to that at some point, but for now, three are coming on June 5, and Netflix has just debuted individual trailers for all three of them that any fan is going to want to watch.

In the First we have “Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too,” which is the episode that features Miley Cyrus as some sort of alt-future version of herself, a pink-haired celebrity that sells fans a mini robot version of her called “Ashley Too.” Needless to say, things go…awry, and it seems like Ashley’s real-life issues somehow translate into the robot.

Finally, there’s “Smithereens,” which everyone should be looking forward to because it stars Sherlock’s Andrew Scott who is excellent. Scott plays some sort of Uber-ish driver who takes an employee of the company Smithereens hostage in his car, and appears to have some sort of vendetta against him or the larger company.

Out of all of these, I’m probably the most curious about Smithereens, given what was shown, but you know that all three of these are no doubt hiding a whole bunch of stuff given that twists and turns are what Black Mirror great.

Most recently, the makers “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch,” an interactive episode starring Fionn Whitehead and Will Poulter, in which the at-home audience could make selections for the characters, resulting in different story paths followed. Black Mirror Season 5 is scheduled for June 5th 2019.
