Mukesh Chhabra is deep trouble
As Mukesh Chhabra turns director, the #MeToo movement has caught up with him. Earlier, there were murmurs that he had sexually harassed some actresses, but the allegations this time around are detailed. The allegations say that Mukesh Chhabra failed to stand by Sanjana Sanghi, who was debuting alongside Sushant Singh Rajput in the film Kizie and Manny.
According to the allegations, Sanjana Sanghi was put off by Sushant’s over friendliness. Also, he is accused of setting up flirtatious tones in all his conversations. When Sanjana’s parents came to the sets to complain about it, Chhabra brushed it off and said that the parents should buckle up for more like this, if they wish to see their daughter continue in Bollywood.
Mukesh Chhabra has other sexual allegations against him too, that he had misbehaved with a young actress who had come for an audition. She accused him of holding her hand and feeling her up when she had come to an audition that he was overseeing. Sanjana and Sushant are starring in the Indian version of the film Fault in Our Stars
