Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who garnered international attention from the portrayal of Ganesh Gaitonde in the first season of Sacred Games is back with season 2. It is considered to be even bigger and grand than the last season.
Ever since the makers have launched the first look of Nawazuddin Siddiqui that looked intense, the curiosity amongst the fans is unstoppable. And with the release of the trailer today, it seems Sacred Games 2 is all set to set yet another benchmark in the digital arena. The trailer starts with the character of Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) reappearing and Sartaj Singh looking for more clues to deal with the lurking danger set to engulf Mumbai.
Pankaj Tripathi as Guruji has come out of the confines of a small television set and can be seen in his full glory. The trailer also introduces the characters of Ranveer Shorey (Shahid Khan) and Kalki Koechlin (Batya Abelman) who will play a key part in the series. The second season of Sacred Games will see Ganesh Gaitonde seeking refuge in Kenya and becoming a crime lord.
The series revolves around Sartaj, a seasoned and cynical Mumbai police officer who is summoned one morning by an anonymous tip which promises him an opportunity to capture the powerful Ganesh Gaitonde. The series streams from August 15th, 2019!
