R Madhavan and Simran to play on-screen couple in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect will star Simran as Maddy’s on-screen wife and will be their reunion after 17 years. The film is based on the scientist Nambi Narayanan. The makers had recently released the teaser titled Rocketry:The Nambi Effect, giving a glimpse of what’s in store for movie buffs. Madhavan looks perfect in the role of the aerospace engineer who has had a roller coaster ride in his career.

Last time Madhavan and Simran worked in “Kannathil Muthammital” which was directed by Mani Ratnam. The two stars are now back as on-screen couple in Nambi Effect which was revealed by Maddy via his social networking pages. R Madhavan will be seen playing prominent aerospace engineer Nambi Narayanan in his life story titled Rocketry: The Nambi Effect which is directed by himself. The shooting of the film is almost complete and the film will soon gear up for release. And amidst this, Madhavan reveals an exciting update about the film.

The film will have a multi-lingual release and will be in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English. Nambi Narayanan is one of the top scientists in India who was falsely charged of espionage and arrested in 1994. All the charges against him were dropped by the CBI and the Supreme Court in 1996 and 1998 respectively. Rocketry will portray the life of Nambi Narayanan from the ’90s till recently when he was awarded a compensation by the Supreme Court. Narayanan later went on to be a part of history in the aerospace world of India after he was included in the team which made the first PSLV to be sent to the moon by India.
