Radhika Madan reveals how she got an audition for Irrfan Khan’s Angrezi Medium
Radhika Madan is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film titled, Angrezi Medium. The actress has been making an impact on the screen with unconventional roles with films like Pataakha and Mard Ko Dard Nai Hota, however, this is one of the biggest films for her.
The film also brings her together with big stars like Irrfan Khan, Deepak Dobriyal, Dimple Kapadia and Kareena Kapoor. Recently in an interview, Radhika revealed that she had to beg to give an audition for the film.
Radhika told TOI, she performed two scenes for her audition one of which is already in the trailer. Talking about the audition, she revealed, “Beg, I had to literally beg to audition for this film because I had just done Pataakha. I begged Homi to let me audition and I performed two scenes, one of which is where she is going to London, which is seen in the trailer and the second one I cannot reveal. Homi and Dinu (Dinesh Vijan) believed in me and it is a rare thing to find such people. I feel really fortunate to have such people with me.”
Angrezi Medium, sequel and spin-off to hit comedy Hindi Medium will release this weekend on March 13, 2020.
