Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Ajith, Suriya, Dhanush And More Cast Their Vote

South Indian Film actors, such as Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Ajith, Suriya, Shurti Haasna, Jyothika and many more were among early voters in Tamil Nadu this morning for second phase of the Lok Sabha election.

Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Haasan and his daughter Shruti Haasan queue up outside polling station 27 at Alwarpet Corporation School in Chennai to cast their votes.

In photos of the polling booth, Kamal Haasan is seen in a crisp white shirt standing with his arms crossed behind his daughter. Both are smiling as people greet the actors.

Shruti Haasan shared picture on social media and wrote, “Vote for the change you want to see! #everyvotecounts”

Superstar Rajinikanth was also seen greeting people after casting his vote in Chennai. Actor Ajith also arrived to cast his vote and was greeted by his fans. Actor Dhanush also arrived to cast his vote.

Actor Suriya along with his wife Joythika were also spotted at voting booth to cast their vote. The actor later shared a picture on his social media. He wrote, “Everyone who seeks the right should not miss the voting obligation. We will fulfill our obligation to vote for the rights of the people…# Elections2019 #GoVoteTN @ECISVEEP #ECISVEEP @TNelectionsCEO (Translate)”

This is also the first major election in Tamil Nadu after the death of the towering personalities of state politics, DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi and AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa.
