Rajkummar Rao Donates To Relief Fund
After Akshay Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, Randeep Hooda and many more pledging a generous donation to PM CARES fund, Content driven superstar Rajkummar Rao is doing his bit to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
The actor Rajkummar has contributed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s relief fund, chief minister’s (Maharashtra) relief fund and Zomato Feeding India to help feed families in need.
Rajkummar took to social media and without disclosing the actual amount, confirmed his contribution to help needy. He shared, “It’s time to stand together and to help our administration in this fight against Coronavirus. I’ve done my bit..Donated to #PMReliefFund #CMReliefFund and to #ZomatoFeedingIndia to help feed families in need. Please support in whatever way you can. Our Nation Needs Us. Jai Hind.”
Many Bollywood celebrities have come forward to support Modi’s PM CAREs fund. Actor Akshay Kumar has announced that he will donate Rs 25 crore to the fund and T-series head honcho Bhushan Kumar has pledged 11 crore.
Meanwhile on the work front, Rajkummar has series of films in his kitty, starting with Ludo, Roohi Afzana, Chhalaang, Abhishek Jain’s Next and Badhaai Do.
Ludo is a dark anthology comedy film directed by Anurag Basu. The story is done by Basu and Hussain Dalal with Tushar Hiranandani writing the screenplay; it is produced by Basu and Bhushan Kumar.
The film stars an ensemble cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Rohit Suresh Saraf, Pearle Maaney and Asha Negi.
Ludo contains four chapters each of which revolves around a different story. The initial release date was announced as 27 December 2019, which was delayed to 24 April 2020.
