Ramalingam Raju’s Story Comes to Bollywood

In 2007, the Indian diaspora was shaken to the core when Satyam’s CEO, Ramalingam Raju confessed in a letter that he had mismanaged 1.7 billion dollars of company money. With Satyam closing down and the whole world moving on, Bollywood director Vivek Rangachari plans to bring the story on screen. In a media interaction, Vivek said that there were many reasons why Raju did what he did, and he said that he would like to bring the entire story on screen.

White collar crime based films are few and far between but the recent film Bazaar, starring Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte and Rohan Mehra was a surprisingly well made film. That could inspire a slew of such white collar films.
