Ranveer Singh Unveils Prep Mode of Cast Of 83

To mark the days of Good Friday super special, the official handle of 83 shared a never before seen behind-the-scenes clip which shows lead actor Ranveer Singh along with his co-stars prepping hard for the sports drama based on actual victory of Indian Cricket Team in 1983 World Cup.

The official 83-The Film handle dropped the minute long video with caption, “Faith can move mountains and as we celebrate it on this auspicious day, let’s gear up to #Relive83 on next Good Friday, 10th April 2020, when our boys will change the game with their faith!”

Kabir Khan directorial 83 is going in full speed, as far as pre-production work is concerned. In the video, lead actor Ranveer Singh along with his co-stars and noted sports personalities, such as Kapil Dev, Mohinder Amanath and more, are seen busy with preparation of the film.

Ranveer Singh, who plays former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev in 83, also shared the same video on his social media handles with the caption, “The incredible untold story of India’s greatest victory! 10th April 2020- Good Friday #Relive83 @83thefilm @kabirkhankk.”

Ranveer Singh is meanwhile training under former cricketer Balwinder Singh Sandhu, who had played a significant role in India’s first World Cup win.

The film also features Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Ammy Virk, Jiiva, Sahil Khattar, Chirag Patil, Pankaj Tripathi and Hardy Sandhu among others.

The film 83 releases on April 10, 2020.
