Sonakshi Sinha Confirms Khadaani Shafakhana

Actress Sonakshi Sinha confirms her next outing, which will mark the acting debut for popular rapper-singer Badshah. The film is titled Khandaani Shafakhana and the film is bankrolled by T-series.

Sonakshi Sinha just took to her social media profile and dropped the deeds on the project. She wrote, “Kab se pooch rahe hai picture ka naam kya hai? Here it is… I’m thrilled to announce my next film KHANDAANI SHAFAKHANA releasing on 26th July! @varunsharma90 @annukapoor_ @Its_Badshah @shilpidasgupta_ @itsBhushanKumar @MahaveerJainMum @MrigLamba @TSeries”

The slice of life drama is helmed by Shilpi Dasgupta, it is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and Mahaveer Jain.

The film stars an incredible ensemble including Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Sharma, Annu Kapoor and Badshah, who will be making his acting debut with the film.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh also confirmed the same. He tweeted, “‏Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Sharma, Annu Kapoor and singer Badshah [makes his acting debut]… Titled confirmed: #KhandaaniShafakhana… Release date finalized: 26 July 2019… Directed by Shilpi Dasgupta… Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and Mahaveer Jain”

Apart from Khandaani Shafakhana, actress Sonakshi Sinha is also busy with Dabangg 3 and Mission Mangal.

Dabangg 3 is directed by Prabhu Deva, and produced by Salman Khan Films and Arbaaz Khan Productions. It is written by Dilip Shukla. The film features Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Mahie Gill.

Mission Mangal is directed by Jagan Shakti. It stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen and Sharman Joshi, and tells the story of scientists at Indian Space Research Organisation who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission, which marked India’s first interplanetary expedition.
