Stree Beats All Bollywood Horror Records, Mints 150 Crores
Stree has beaten all records of Bollywood horror film by making a record 150 crores in a period of three weeks. The Rajkummar Rao Shraddha Kapoor Flora Saini starrer has become the first horror and the first horror comedy to make so much money at the box office. Analysts like Taran Adarsh have said that the film is a lottery for anyone who has financed the film.
Stree has not only been praised by the critics but by the audiences too. The film has the right mix of jump scares and humor to keep the Indian audiences engaged. What also worked for the film is the earthy screenplay and some great performances from the likes of Pankaj Tripathi and Rajkummar Rao. Rao has already announced that the film will have a sequel, as have the writers, Raj and DK.
