Thala Ajith’s Viswasam create this new record after crushing Prabhas’ Baahubali 2.
Talking about Viswasam, it marks the fourth collaboration between the director Siva and Ajith after Vedhalam, Veeram and Vivegam. It also features Vivek, Thambi Ramaiah, Yogi Babu, Bose Venkat and Kovai Sarala in pivotal roles.

Despite clashing with Rajinikanth starrer Petta, the masala entertainer garnered tremendous footfalls and set new benchmarks at the ticket windows. Meanwhile, Thala Ajith will be next seen in director H Vinoth’s “Nerkonda Paarvai”, which is the official remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer Pink. The film has completed its shooting process and the makers have already started the post-production work in full swing. With Nerkonda Paarvai, filmmaker Boney Kapoor has entered the Tamil industry as a producer.
The original film, which released in 2016 starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kirti Kulhari, Taapsee Pannu, Angad Bedi and Piyush Mishra in key roles was produced by Shoojit Sircar and directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. Nerkonda Paarvai is set to hit the screens on August 10.The film also marks the Tamil debut of Vidya Balan, and the music of the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
