VIDYA BALAN STARRER SHAKUNTALA DEVI BAGGED ‘THE MOST WATCHED FILM OF 2020’.
Vidya Balan, who was last seen in the biopic of the legendary mathematician Shakuntala Devi, took to her Instagram account to share the success story of her movie, for being the most-watched film of the year.
Amidst the other movies that released on the OTT platforms, SHAKUNTALA DEVI released on Amazon Prime during the pandemic, in the month of July.
Expressing her extreme joy and contentment, she wrote below her post, “One of the most-watched films of 2020... Yoohoo my dearest team Shakuntala Devi

The Character of the ‘Human Computer’ was played by the multi-talented and versatile actor Vidya Balan, who got into the skin of the character and impressed the audience.
Directed by Anu Menon and produced by Sony Pictures, the movie was to be released on 8 May.
The movie is based on the Life of the Human-Computer SHAKUNTALA DEVI, whose story breaks the social norms of successful women, without the garb of a sacrificing mother or a damsel in distress.
On the film front, the actor is already shooting for her upcoming projects; NATKHAT and SHERNI.
